Here is my first attempt to model a car, at this time Ferrari 599 GTO. Hope to do more cars in the close future. Any Sugestions in relation to topology, render or other aspects? It is fairly midpoly 300k polys. Trees has been taken from the drag and drop collection at blendswap. Fully rendered in cycles, all textures were packed into the blendfile. Feel free to comment. Have fun with this model it is all urs.

Overall looks okay but when you take a closer look its a bit sloppy. Things like the Ferrari text looks like 'Ferrart'. The Wipers are mirrored and thats wrong (they dont both wipe into the middle). The wheels look unrealistic because something went wrong when you build them. they have holes and much too sharp edges. There is also alot unfinished like the backside of the car and the wheels on the other side. some parts of the Inside are clipping through to the body, same for the car ground plane. The Node Setup looks very similair to Jonathan Williamson Tutorial from cgcookie http://cgcookie.com/blender/2012/04/06/rendering-a-sports-car-in-blender-cycles-part-01/ And the Final Render reminds me of Bartek Skorupa Training DVD Compositing http://cgcookie.com/blender/2012/07/26/compositing-in-blender-training-dvd-series-pre-order-now/
When I started to model this car i didn't know that jonathan have finished similar one, but i liked the scene idea
but yeah i many times use a rubber and car paint shader, i just remember and like this one
wow, this really looks very realistic, thank you so much for uploading. :D
You should do your renders without the trees getting in the way, the shade of the leaves is really distracting and makes it hard to see the details of the vehicle. But otherwise nice job.
