A cartoon style sheep. Used displace modifier to create a solid wool mesh, giving it a clay animation look. Not ideal for animation because of the faces involved with this, but I suppose you could replace the displace with a hair system if needed, or retopologise the mesh.
Feel free to use for whatever you like, no credit needed, but would love to see anything cool made with it.
I will use it too.. Thz for sharing!
PS: Can you make more animals like this one?
Like this one. Farm and wild animals with a toon look like this.
Imagine an animation for little babies.
(note for blendwsap adm: can you make so we can follow up these comments in our mail box, like subscribing?)
will see what I can do, am a bit bogged down at the minute though
@Prof-2004, you want the ability to subscribe to comments and then get notification via email when someone comments?
Yes.
Do you know what "Moodle" is? An educational place where teachers and students can interact.
There, when you reply a threat, or open a new, you are asked if you want to receive the followups in your mailbox.
(thou many other foruns over the internet have the same feature)
Would be good to get a similar notification system as Facebook. i.e. If anyone interacts with you and/or any of your models, you're sent a notification on your dashboard. Would also be good to get an email when such things happen, but will need the ability to turn these off if needed.
@Prof-2004 @Blurredmotion in ver5 any interaction you have on the site will be relayed to your dashboard. Comments, artist follows, model likes, etc. So if anything is going on that you have interest in, it will show up in your dashboard. We will look into an email preference as well. Cheers
@Admin/Matt: Thanks for the followup
@Blurredmotion: Ok, when you can pls make some more models like these.
Im not good at moddeling, prefering animation.
^_^
Not rigged, nope, I made this model to print in 3D so it wasn't needed.
@BlurredMotion I wanted to animate this model for my project .So i rigged it and tried to add few actions but blender runs too slowly. everything takes about 10 seconds to respond. so i reduced the size of model tried decimating and reduced number of triangles but still nothing helped Please help...I'm stuck
Really sorry about the late reply. As I made this model for 3D printing, it isn't ideal for animating, very high resolution. Try turning the displace and subsurf modifiers off for animating, but leaving them on for render.
Awesome. I updated into open simulator as a .dae file. He rezzed perfectly and is adorable. He'll be part of a Halloween costume and after Halloween join a small herd of mesh cattle and horses on my region.
Thank you so much for this great addition to virtual life.
My brother is using this. 5/5!
