A character made by me for CGChallenge contest. Provided with rig for both rider and horse, plus set of poses. Rig is by no means perfect, but workable. Render setup for internal renderer. When it comes to subject- it is an hussar of Xth regiment of Duchy of Warsaw from napoleonic era (1805). They were first unit in Grand Army that entered Moscow.

Written January 14, 2013The front horse's leg is a little strange, but overall I think this is fantastic. Like someone else said, it REALLY looks like a period painting. I think the grass and the men's faces are the main things that betray it as CG. Really awesome work.
