Beautiful modeling, thank you. May I ask why the lighting is so intense?
Hi thesupermonkey,
Thanks for the compliments, the lighting is so intense because I used a photo as reference. This rendering was done in v-ray!
where'd you get the texture for the floor from? It's not packed in the file...
I would be interested in the ground texture as well, because I will use this model for a demonstration of a realtime technique I am developing in my master thesis. Of course you get credits gabrielmda. Thanks a lot for sharing this great work of art.
If anybody is interested, I gathered a list of links to the other textures (the paintings):

Great model, had fun trying to get as good results with Cycles...lots of problems with noise finally solved by using Clamp set to 10. Also used GIMP to get a perspective corrected view, I'm an engineer so like my lines parallel :^)
Happy to share my Blend if anyone's interested in a Cycles version (also don't have floor texture, although I've started work on one)
Yes, I would like the Cycles version you have been working on if you don't mind. Thanks
Fan art? Bizarre. I think Michelangelo is in the public-domain by now ;)
