Warning: This library crashes on render in Blender 2.70. The Library was built in Blender 2.67. I will look into updating it as soon as possible. for now, appending the materials to your scene still works. Thanks.
Categorized OSL & Cycles node materials. All materials are as fake user, each sphere has multiple materials. There's a good test scene Scene_Objects_Cycles in the .blend The materials in the library have been set up to work on these objects. The scale of the objects is standard blender add object scale. All materials have been named for easier appending. Written February 14, 2013hi, yes it would work with matlib vx, but you'll need to set it up yourself. You'll find some of the materials in the online matlib in contrib addons

Written August 13, 2014The material that causes 2.71 to crash is called AE_GAO.osl (6th from the left on the bottom row) if you remove that it will render just fine :)

Written April 21, 2015It runs under 2.74. There are two scripts called "MAlight_vec.osl.003" and "MAlight_vec.osl.002" that make problems. You can read in the scripts that the author had problems with these scripts, too. Delete the materials with these scripts and everything is ok. Attention : Every object in the scene has several materials.

Written February 04, 2016FAnToTallyTasTic! I first thought for some materials very nice, but then I discovered some shaders like sand, dunes and marbles. I'm gonna be busy for the next three weeks playing with these toys. Won't eat, won't sleep etc. Great! Thanks!
