Description:
This is the rigged and animated owl we used in our animation for the title sequence of a Dutch TV show "Klass Vaak" in 2009.
The blend file is an animated loop you can see in (old) article on Blendernation http://tinyurl.com/a3a7gfe
Since then it's just been sitting on our HDD so I decided to release it into the wild. (pun intended!)

Written August 30, 2013I think the ? is where are the rig drivers etc? With the cursor in the 3D window press Alt key plus h and all that is hidden will be revealed. Hope this is helpful.

Written October 24, 2020This is really a marvellous model! I'd like to use it for our action group protecting a local recreation area (where a long-eared owl lives) - but Blender 2.9 crashes upon loading the data. I assume it has to do with the rigging in 2.6 which is not compatible to 2.9. Has anyone successfully transferred the model to Blender 2.8 oder 2.9?
