FYI: changed your ungodly 2000 to 512 in Sampling. Then, under Performance I set the Tiles size to 512 (x&y) and checked: Persistent Images, Use Spatial Splits, and Save Buffers. Last, I switched GPU since I have one. It took my not-so-expensive Lennovo 2 minutes and 37 seconds to render an awesome image!
