I noticed there wasn't a jet engine available on blendswap, soI made one for use with aircrafts etc, preferably an airliner/passenger jet...
Contains two fans, one main fan and one small fan inside.
~17k polys or ~34k tris in total.
small fan has orangish emmission material to show you some detail on the inside.
the main fan and small fan have some constraints applied, rotating the main fan on X-axix will rotate the small fan as well around the shaft. You may or may not have to remove the constraints and make new ones to use it in an animation.
All of the parts are named so you know what is what.
Rendered in Cycles. Mirrors added so you can see in the preview image exactly what the file contains.
Anyone who downloads, do comment and tell me what you think.
Thank you.
thank you...
if u use it, do tell me where u use it.
and also, some parts of it could use a little more smoothing/subsurf and some dimensions are off slightly, cuz I didn't have any ref images, modeled from imagination....
It's really good job, i have just one question about the "casing part" : is that the best way to make a complex mesh in one part ? Or is it better for Cycles rendering ?
Nice!
