Description:

I followed this tutorial http://blendtuts.com/coffee_cup (thx to Oliver Villar) and made some variations.

Wood Texture is from Texturemate:

http://www.texturemate.com/content/free-wood-texture-19-11-2011-019

For the coffee texture I searched the net for a top-down picture of a coffee cup, then deleted everything around the coffee (gimp, saved as png for the alpha). I couldn`t find the one I used again - so sorry, no link here, but there are lots of others online.

This is my first upload on blendswap and I`m a new blender user.

So critics and tips are very appreciated.

As a begginer you are in fact an artist. Go ahead with Blender.

As a new Blender user this is a nice model. Personally, I think that Oliver's tutorial cup was too thick, and I see that you have a thinner and more realistic cup.

And you have a reasonably good spoon.

    Keep up the good work.

Your comments really are encourageing. Ill certainly "go ahead" and "keep it up". Am working on several blender-scenes... it goes quite slow for the moment and I find myself trying the hard way and thinking: "there are easy ways in this great program to do this but I just dont know yet..." in fact - until now I cant think of any visual idea that (from what Ive seen) couldn`t be done in blender - ...makes me a little unpatient and greedy, but, well...
