This is my first model that I have uploaded to blendswap. I would very much like to have some feedback on this as I feel that it would be a good starting point for me.
Cheers
Im more intrigued by name of model itself. Is it some kind of contraception device from the future? :D
My guess: the word Sperm is more like a description for the overall shape of this Spaceship (or SciFi Aircraft / Jet) and i dont think it's a nanobot or something to fight against Sperm haha.
Well, tadpole would be much less disturbing comparison if you ask me. Yet tadpole-fighter does sound odd :D Anyway I support Smokie23 suggestion to add some more detail. If you need it to stay low-poly you can use texture baking and normal maps wich I discovered recently and found amazing. Here is litle toutorial about those by Jonathan Williamson: http://cgcookie.com/blender/2010/06/30/normal_maps_blender_2_5
Looks cool. I am not sure of the overall look you are trying to achieve but maybe some intake/vents that extrude from the side and/or top then smooth out into the rest of the body. When I look at it I am wondering how it lands? wheels? thrusters? or helicopter arm thingies lol also maybe extrude the body parts to give it kind of metal sheeting look or add some depth and little details like antennas or nifty looking radar dish and some weapons :)
EDIT: second look it would look really cool also if you extrude the front, side parts a bit more and stick a colored light in there to have it shine out like accent lighting
Is 'spermfighter' from the Family Guy 'Emission Impossible' episode where Stewie shrinks a warcraft down to sperm size to destroy a potential brother who hasn't been conceived yet?
It looks similar:

I'm gonna say this is not the best place to put things to get critiques on them. Check out blenderartists.org for feedback. Once you get good at Blender and would like to share your models, then upload some here. Keep up the good work!
it's clearly overexposed (too much light going on). First go to you World Settings. Disable Indirect Lighting (It's even useless because you dont have any Materials with Emit as far as i can see) Disable Environment Lighting (It's more used when you dont have any Light source in the scene but you have a sun lamp) Scale down Ambient Occlusion to something between 0.1 and 0.2 because with a full value of 1.0 you dont need any lights either. When you've changed this you get a more realistic Render Result of what you built. Overall the Mesh looks pretty clean. The UV Unwrap is okay. You aligned the parts so you have some variation of the Metal Door Texture on your 'aircraft-thing'. For my taste i would extrude the wings to about the double of the size as they are now and add something like a fin at the end to make the whole thing a bit more believable.
