Freestyle demo based on my latest work (watch it in HD).
This version uses a single, user friendly, BI material, instead of 2 linked scenes, 4 Cycles renderlayers, 4 Cycles materials and 20 compositing nodes.
To use the material the object has to be UV unwrapped. A simple U -> Cube Projection works well in most cases, that's how I unwrapped the sawshark.
Textures were done in photoshop from scratch. Swap them with other tileable ones to achive pencil and other hatching effects. You can control the textures scale inside the material with the mapping node.
