This is my 3rd and last version of the Apple of Eden, from the Assassin's Creed series. Also, i've made a huge improvement in my texturing skills and i was testing them out here, this version has a Normal map, a Specularity map and a Displacement map to achieve as much of a photorealistic result as possible here. Rendered with Cycles at 30 passes.
Displacement map is basically the same thing as bump map, it's used in conjunction with the Displace modifier to actually modify the geometry of the object it's mapped to, instead of just simply bump mapping it. Hope it's clearer now.
the bump map is included with the Displacement map ???? or you have done it with another way ???
