This was the rig I used for animation in "One More Fright", a minecraft parody:

This rig is being uploaded by popular demand. The rig and model is being released as CC-0, so you are free to use or manipulate as you like. You do not have to give credit, but if you want to you could state: "Character model and rigging by Patrick W. Crawford, TheDuckCow". This is minecraft rig with a specialized "fancy feet rig", where the foot automatically rocks on a level surface defined by the rotation of the according foot IK target. While rocking is normally easy to accomplish with humanoid rigs, the desired effect in this minecraft cartoon character is to have the rotation of the foot be the same as the rotation of the lower leg while still having IK control.

Written May 09, 2013If you wanted to move the fingers individually, it's just a matter of deleting those constraints mentioned in the demo video

Written May 17, 2013The rig is setup to work with both forward kinematics (FK) and inverse kinematics (IK) for the arms, which is convenient for animation. On the arm, select the yellow bone and under the constraints panel you can change the influence of the IK control (0 turns it off, allowing you to move the arms "like normal")

Written May 25, 2013In the zip file you download, there is a texture folder in the same directory as the blend file (blendswap generated another folder called textures when I uploaded it, so yes that one is empty, the other is not). If it doesn't render with the skin texture, then try going under the materials and then texture panel and hit refresh/reloading the texture.

Edited May 25, 2013Sorry, but what do you mean? If you want to use it for animations, you first need to delete the demo animation; hover your mouse over the top-left window it opens to (the dope sheet), hit a to select everything and then x to delete.

Edited June 07, 2013It could be that you moved the blend file out of it's original folder, as the textures are located in the same location. Try rendering it from there, and if you want to move the file elsewhere either "pack" the blend file inside of blender, or copy/move the texture folder and blend file together. You might need to "refresh" the textures, under the texture's tab where it indicates which image is linked.

Written April 10, 2014You can go to the "dope sheet", hit a to select everything and then x to delete all keyframes; but, I would actually recommend one of my newer rigs on my profile and not this "fancy feet" one :)
