Description:

This one has proper lafted wood logs. Complicated geometry makes it problematic to apply image textures, but procedural should be OK. Simple shaders are applied, so if you like to play with nodes...

I like the overall look of this cabin, but those logs are very straight. A little variation would add appeal. How much benefit did you see from the modelled wood logs as opposed to the flat wall on the other model?

I forgot to apply scale on 3 of the wall. Once you apply scale with Ctrl+A the displacement modifiers kick into action. I have uploaded a corrected version (I hope it's OK now). Also note that trees are tapered, so all logs will be a little smaller in one end. That is why they are stacked every other on top of each other- narrow/wide/narrow/wide etc. This effect is subtle but makes a difference. Check the rear wall (north) to see if you like that better. If so, apply scale with CTRL+A on the other three walls.

Reworked again - included walls on layer 2 with array_modifier intact.

It'd be better to show the front of the cabin in the image sample or, better yet, show two or three images. Remember that a good package makes a product more attractive. Regardless the above mentioned, it is a good and laborious work. Regards.

Good build but the colours are very plain. I think you need to add some wood textures to it as it is a log cabin.
