Medieval knight model without textures and rig. near 20k polys. Fell free to use any way you want
Very nice! I'd like to import it into Pepakura for print and build it. does anyone know if there is any way to reduce the number of faces? It's giving me 57654 parts right now.... O_o Thank you!
You can siply delete edgeloops manualy or use decimate modifire with UnSubdivide option. Actualy i have a low poly version without applyed SubSurf modifire. Have to learn how to reload .blend here. If you will build this model, i will be happy to see some photos how it looks
If I'll ever build this model, you'll be the first one to see it, of course! Let me know if you can reload the low poly version. Btw I'll try to do as you said, but I'm not so skilled with 3D programs ;)
Looks awesome man. I can rig and animate it, just wish I knew how to texture it :P
Very nice! I was having some issues figuring out how to make the the segmented tassets on my own knight character, but after checking out yours, I saw your use of the Mark Sharp tool with edge split modifier, and completely had my mind blown. I love how much that simplified my mesh, allowing me to smooth out a lot of janky topology, and keep it all connected.
It is great to hear, that this model helped you to learn something and improve your own skills. I love blender community for this - it is always open for sharing, it really helps to grow as an artist
Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the model. It's a very clean and well done piece. :) still awesome years later
Very nice I will try rig it
