For me it's ok to use anyway you want, but since Star Wars itself is copyrighted you might get in trouble with Disney if you want to use it commercially. Better check that out first I think.

Thank for reply. Can i use CC Zero licensed model commercially in game?

CC0 means that you can use the model anyway you want without having to give the creator any credits or even ask before. It's totally free. However, this is marked as a fan art which means the license belongs to someone else also. In this case it's Disney who owns Star Wars who in the end decides who case use it and how. Most companies are fine with free fan created material but might not like anyone trying to make any money out of it.

Really thank for brief explanation. I seen your work that's was really great. And i have an another doubt If CC0 model was not marked as a fan art then, can i use that in commercial games?

Thanks, glad you like my work! If a model is CC0 and not marked as fan art you can do anything you want with it without asking the creator. Even use it commercially. If you do something with it though it's fun for the creator to see how their work was used. It's not a requirement to show them though.

That's great! Glad you found a use for it. No requirement but would be fun to see what picture you made out of it :)

The wings on the tie are a wee bit to short length wise. but otherwise a great model!

He He I can just scale the wings in Blender... doesn't get too distorted. Great stuff.

Thanks for the comment! The most difficult part with modelling from Star Wars is that there are so many different variations of the blueprints and ships in general. I used the blueprint at wookiepedia, but you are right that the wings on that one is shorter than in some other images. Maybe I'll do an updated version later with longer wings :)

I'm using your great model for a little movie I'm making with my grandkids, who are very excited about piloting an TIE fighter. I have been trying to render the model with a transparent background but for the life of me I cannot get it to work with your model. I looked out how to do this and believe I've ticked all the right settings PNG>RGBA>Film Output=Transparent are all checked but it's still rendering a background pass.

Patience, dedication, but most of all by having fun. I enjoy making Star Wars models. I also come back now and then to improve old models by adding more details or changing things to make it better. Not all the updates are on this site. More can be found at https://sketchfab.com/DanielAndersson and some renders at https://www.artstation.com/marruc
